CottonBrained
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Little plushie girls get little plushie treatment.
CW for adult content
Art is a mix of original artwork, traces of original photos, and original photos. Partially for style reasons, partially as an excuse not to draw too much
This is just the first scene of a longer story we wanted to put together! The rest of the story will probably (maybe) be coming out in VN form soon, but we didn't have time to finish it before the deadline for the jam. For now it's readable as a mostly finished piece of downloadable prose.

I clicked on this because of the use of plush/multimedia aesthetics that always fascinate me, and this was a gut wrenching game.
I have immense respect for how unflinchingly the shame and unwanted physical responses and mental justifications for this type of abuse are depicted. I'm sure there's many people who will feel seen by the way that this is written.
The use of the game engine is also really unique and not something I've seen before, the first text change brought on a wave of sadness as you see Lamb try to rewrite her own emotional responses in real time to cope with what's happening to her. Oddly enough it made me appreciate games potential to depict experiences of violence in ways that other mediums can't. I hope the full VN that was planned is able to be completed, I care about this Lamb! T_T
Thank you! We definitely still plan to finish and polish the game; the lamb has, unfortunately, not suffered enough yet :(
I'm so glad to hear it's still being worked on!
Thank you for taking the time to comment we worked really hard on this so I appreciate that it is actually meaningful to people <3
of course!! <3
